MGDS is owned and managed by Creative Director Marcus Graham. Based in Irlam on the border of Cheshire and Lancashire, MGDS is just 20 minutes from the centres of Manchester and Warrington by train or car, with easy access to the M6, M60, M62 and M602 motorways. Without the expense of a city centre address, MGDS keeps overheads down, and this is reflected in the great value prices.

Focusing his school life on his more creative abilities, Marcus left school with A grades in Art and Design, then spent the next 4 years studying Graphic Design in Manchester to BTEC HND level. Soon after graduation he was offered a Junior Designer position at a local advertising agency and the following two years were to be of invaluable experience, developing a good knowledge of the industry, learning pre-press procedures, becoming fluent in all the essential design software, creating advertising and direct marketing for the car sales industry, and producing signage, labels and vehicle graphics for many local companies - 15 years on, Marcus still produces design work for clients he met back in this junior position.

In 2000, Marcus was offered a position at The Guardian Newsgroup designing the pages of City Life Magazine, it’s various annual publications and the advertising and supplements within them. Marcus spent 7 great years producing the 84 page magazine each week, with a brilliant team of writers, editors and designers. This experience of the constant pressure, meeting the strict deadlines and demands of the publishing industry, has embedded an instinct for good time management and efficiency in production - It was at City Life where Marcus started a close working relationship with the staff at The Comedy Store, Manchester, organisers of the Manchester Comedy Festival, who continue to use MGDS as design and print provider 10 years on.

In 2006, MGDS was created, Marcus has since built a strong portfolio of happy clients, old and new, creating eye-catching designs and marketing ideas, that are a proven success worldwide, ensuring that printed materials supplied by MGDS are superb value and a quality they’ve come to expect.
